The invention relates to a folding bicycle with a crank handle aufneh-menden frame frame, at the main portion of a bearing leg are articulated for a provided with a bearing fork for the front steering column and a rear swing arm, with the main section, a seat post and an attacking the seat post Connecting link forms a four-bar linkage.
In order to provide simple handling conditions for the folding of a bicycle, it is known (EP 2 489 583 A1) to articulate a seat post, which is coupled to the main portion of the frame frame via a connecting link, to the rear swing arm articulated to the main portion of the frame frame, so that the main portion of the Frame frame, the rear swing arm, the seat post and the connecting link form a four-bar linkage, after its unlocking with the pivoting of the seat post forward pivoting of the swingarm downwards, so that the complete collapse of the frame frame only the bearing leg for the steering column relative to the main portion of the frame frame must be swung back laterally against the main portion of the frame frame to a parallel to the plane of the frame frame pivot axis, until the front wheel mounted in a bearing fork of the steering column substantially laterally beside the rear wheel comes to rest. So that the part of the steering column carrying the handlebars does not project beyond the folded frame frame, this steering column part can additionally be pivoted about a hinge axis in such a way that the handlebar runs approximately parallel to the front wheel. By combining the main portion of the frame frame, the rear swing arm and the seat post to a four-bar linkage Ge gegeneinanderverschwenken this frame parts is forcibly controlled, but remains for the folded frame frame required space considerably, because the main portion of the frame during the forward pivoting of the seat post is pivoted away from the rear swing arm and the saddle of the seat post additionally towers over this main section. Apart from that, the pedal is located in the rear swing arm and not in the main portion of the frame, which brings unfavorable loading conditions.
The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a folding bike, which is characterized not only by ease of use, but also by a particularly small footprint for the folded frame frame.
Starting from a folding bicycle of the type described, the invention solves the problem by the fact that the main section receives the crank and that the seat post is articulated on the main section and connected via the connecting link to the rear swing arm.
According to these measures, the seat post is pivoted on the four-bar linkage from the locked position not to the front, but against the rear swingarm backwards, which is also pivoted down against the main portion of the frame, so that this main portion of the frame frame is approximately tangent to the rear wheel. This is made possible by the fact that the crank is stored outside the pivoting range of the rear swingarm in the main portion of the frame frame. Since both the seat post and the main portion of the frame frame tangentially surround the rear wheel in the folded position, the space required for this folding position is minimized. It therefore only needs the bearing leg for the steering column to be pivoted about its pivot axis against the main portion of the frame so that the front wheel comes to rest laterally next to the rear wheel.
Since usually the rear swing arm is supported via a shock vapors on the frame frame, the connecting link can form this shock absorber for the rear swing arm, which is a design simplification. 3/14 3
The embodiment of the rack according to the invention allows the equipment of the bicycle with an electric auxiliary drive, whereby advantageous design conditions arise when the main portion of the frame frame forms a housing for receiving batteries for the power supply of such an electric auxiliary drive.
Although it is in principle possible to pivot the bearing leg for the steering column about an articulation axis parallel to the frame axis so that the front comes to rest laterally next to the rear wheel, there are further ways to reduce the space required for the folding position of the bike when the cross extending to the plane of the frame frame pivot axis between the downwardly pivotable bearing leg for the steering column and the main portion of the frame frame relative to the axis of the pedal inclined, so when swinging this bearing leg held in the bearing fork front wheel additionally undergoes lateral displacement due to the inclination of the pivot axis, which ensures the juxtaposition of front and rear wheels.
The pivoted against the rear of the bearing leg legs of the frame frame in turn runs tangentially to the rear wheel in the folded position of the bicycle, so that the rear wheel is U-shaped framed by the main portion of the frame frame and hinged on one end of the main section seat post and the bearing leg, the opposite End of the main section is provided.
The steering column-carrying portion of the steering column can - as is known - be pivoted about a relative to the handlebars approximately 45 ° inclined transverse axis, so that with the pivoting of this part of the steering column of the handlebar is rotated approximately parallel to the front wheel.
In the drawing, the subject invention is shown, for example. Show it
1 shows a bicycle according to the invention in a simplified side view in the locked position of use, 4/14. 4
2 the bicycle with unlocked seat post after initiating the Abschwen kens the seat post,
3 shows the bicycle with the swung-down in the folded position rear swing arm,
4 shows the bicycle with unlocked and partially swung-off bearing leg for the steering column,
Fig. 5 shows the bicycle in the fully folded position in a side view and
Fig. 6 shows the bicycle according to FIG. 5 in a plan view.
The bicycle shown has a frame frame 1, on the main portion 2 on the one hand a rear swing arm 3 and on the other hand, a bearing leg 4 are articulated for a steering column 5. The steering column 5 is connected to a handlebar 6 and carries a bearing fork 7 for a front wheel 8. The mounted in the rear rocker arm 3 rear wheel is denoted by 9 and is not with a mounted in the main section 2 of the frame frame 1 pedal 10 on a for reasons of clarity shown chain drive in drive connection, wherein the pedal crank drive preferably engages the freewheel hub of a wheel hub motor 11. The saddle 12 is arranged on a seat post 13, which is pivotally mounted on the main section 2 of the frame frame 1 via a pivot axis 14. The pivotable about the pivot axis 15 rear swing arm 3 is based on a formed as a shock absorber 16 connecting link 17 on the seatpost 13 from. The articulation axes of this connecting link 17 are designated by 18. It thus appears that the main portion 2 of the frame frame 1 with the rear swingarm 3 and the seat post 13 forms a coupled via the connecting link 17 four-bar linkage, so that with the pivoting of the seat post 13, the rear swing arm 3 is forcibly mitverlagert.
2, the seat post 13 has been unlocked by releasing a corresponding locking device 19 and pivoted according to the arrow 20 to the pivot axis 14 back against the rear wheel 9, the rear swing arm 5/14 5 3 taken over the connecting link 17 and their Anlenkachse 15 is pivoted down against the main portion 2 of the frame frame 1.
In Fig. 3, the end position of this Abschwenkvorgangs is shown. It can be seen that both the main section 2 of the frame frame 1 and the seat post 13 extend approximately tangentially to the rear wheel 9, which is an essential prerequisite for a small footprint of the folded bicycle. Thus, for the complete folding position, only the front wheel 8 with the bearing leg 4 about the articulation axis 21 between the main portion 2 of the frame frame 1 and the bearing leg 4 is to be swung out of the position according to FIG. 3 so that the front wheel 8 is laterally adjacent to the rear wheel 9 lie comes. Thus, the handlebars 6 of the steering column 5 does not protrude beyond the folded frame, the above the bearing leg 4 projecting, the handlebar 6 supporting part of the steering column 5 is pivoted about a relative to the handlebars 6 approximately 45 ° inclined transverse axis, but not for reasons of clarity is shown in more detail. In Fig. 3, only the pivoted with respect to FIGS. 1 and 2 folding position of the steering column 5 is shown.
After unlocking of the bearing leg 4 via a latch 22 acting on a locking device 23 of Fig. 4, the bearing leg 4 of the frame frame 1 is pivoted about the pivot axis 21, which is not perpendicular to the frame plane, but with respect to a perpendicular to the frame plane, ie against the Axle of the crank 10, is arranged inclined. Because of this inclination, the bearing leg 4 is laterally offset during pivoting, so that the front wheel 8 can be displaced laterally next to the rear wheel 9, as can be seen in particular from FIG. 6.
In Figs. 5 and 6, the full folding position of the bicycle is shown. In the pivoted-down position of the bearing leg 4, this comes approximately tangentially to the rear wheel 9 as shown in FIG. 5, so that the rear wheel 9 is separated from the main section 2 and the seat post 13 at one end of the main section 2 and the bearing leg 4 hinged at the other end. 6/14 6 is enclosed, which ensures a very space-saving folding position. Of the Fig. 6 it can be seen that the lateral projection of the bicycle in the folded position is low and is determined essentially by the width of the rear swing arm 3 and the bearing fork 7 for the front wheel 8.
To swing the folding position of the bicycle in the position of use, the bearing leg 4 is first to pivot about the hinge axis 21 in the initial position in reverse order, wherein in the stop-limited Ausschwenklage preferably a self-locking on the latch 22 takes place.
After swiveling up the folded-down longitudinal pillar part, only the rear swinging arm 3 needs to be pivoted into the position of use by means of the seatpost 13 and locked by the locking device 19 in order to be able to use the bicycle in the locked position of use. 7.14
